I feel as a brand urban outfitters and other more commercialised stores play on the idea of vintage clothes and this is often reflected through their displays and interiors. I do however think that the brand communication and behavior is something I can learn from when approaching branding Kenny's.
The shops often has prints of local illustrators / designers, this was something I hoped to achieve for Kenny's whether the prints would be sold or just an email placed underneath them I feel this would communicate a more social and engaging shop - enticing new customers and supporting local creatives.
I am also impressed on the way that the shop plays around with type,
it has a very European style to it which I think works perfectly with
the rest of the branding and throughout the rest of the shop.
With my initial focus being the ISTD brief I feel some typographically orientated outcomes would be appropriate.
