Problem Breakdown

After re assessing what was being asked of us I realised that trying to target students on a whole was a near impossible task, by breaking them down by subject it becomes much easier to address them. Also when thinking about the content of the newspaper and the different sections it covers it again becomes easier to break them down and deal with each group separately.

Also the aesthetic the paper uses for this we feel will have more of a direct communication with the target audience. I want to think about how these factors could influence the campaign, something using these colours in a less traditional yet still somewhat formal approach could be a way of encouraging students to try the paper.

These are the different sections within the magazine, one way of breaking down students into smaller more manageable groups
News .. Views .. TV .. IQ .. Business .. Sport 

The other categories that are included in the IQ section of paper each day are also particularly relevant to different groups of students - I feel these made to be much clearer to truly clarify the diversity of information in the paper
Style .. Arts .. Reviews .. Health .. Life
