Although this video doesn't directly use type, the quality and simplicity of the brief clips draws you into the screen and creates a 3D environment that seems to keep moving around the screen. I found it interested what Fred had to say about these not being real environments, I think I am finally getting my head around the diverse possibilities just using After Effects let alone any of the other software out there.

This video is however more relevant to the next part of the module, where we were asked to research into a specific subject matter and focus on a 10 top / worst / things to know etc about this subject, we were also asked to think about what channel it would be linked to making sure it stays visually relevant to its content. If this style of video was being used on TV / as an Ident it would fit with MTV / channel 4 running with their playful branding. Going to start researching into different subject areas and thinking about what channels they would be most likely to be on in the commercial world.
