80's Cassette covers

Came across this wonderful flickr selection of 80's cassette covers and decided as a visual this could be an interesting direction for the branding. I may explore moving away from the idea of fashion cycles and be a bit more open to develop my ideas though research or combine previous ideas to this aesthetic.

Pieces of design like this that now look like ephemera are a wonderful representation of retro and the clothes in the shop. Although some of the colour schemes are pretty adventerous a cheaper recreating using different coloured stocks and black ink could be a cost effective way of dealing with the designs.
