Re-branding of the channel 4 Idents in 2010 by Rudd Studio
There is actually a few talks on motion graphics one by Matt Rudd the owner of the Rudd studio, some exceptional work. The different elements of the 4 logo separating and interacting with the background images and movement are all closely related to my chosen words. I got a real sense of off the screen interaction with the shapes going off the sides and the line in the middle dissecting the distortions, crucial when working with movement and screen.
Channel 4 seem to really be leading the way with their motion graphics, whether this is down to their iconic logo or the studios they choose to produce their work I don't know.
See the talk on a new blog I set up with a few other designers Dom Rugman & Oli Cassell, the blog will feature talks based around a variety of different creative disciplines - Design Oration

Another wonderful channel 4 ident, I like the simplicity between the content of the programme, exposing people to sides of the world they know little about and the threads revealing 'dispatches'.

The 1982 channel 4 ident, amazing to see how techniques used have been developed and modernised to work with current identities and on screen presence. Remakes of this are still being produced by students doing studies into motion graphics and idents.
